OBJECTIVE
Attend the academic affairs of professors and students at a bachelor's
degree level and to coordinate academic actions generated by the School
itself and the corresponding intra and extra university agencies, harmonizing
teaching and research activities as executor of the policies laid down
by the Dean's Office.
FUNCTIONS
- To promote and foster the academic excellence of the School in its
bachelor's degree through the interaction of the different Secretaries
and Heads of Department, coordinating efforts made to this end.
- To stimulate the formation of trained human resources permitting
the achievement of an appropriate academic level.
- To supervise compliance with the academic programs in order to achieve
adequate performance, based on the profile of the graduate, in the training
of human resources that are produced in the School.
- To coordinate compliance with academic programs that are already in
existence.
- To coordinate the scholarship programs of the Office for Academic
Staff Matters, reincorporating scholarship students, programming the
yearly needs of the School and the adequate use of scholarships to stimulate
bachelor's degree studies.
- To promote and maintain public relations adequate to the interests
of the School at the levels stipulated by the Dean's Office.
- To stimulate student participation in research projects as a parallel
activity to their professional training.
- To foster and establish educational quality nuclei in the School
to stimulate its development and raise its quality through pilot groups
and teaching laboratories, in collaboration with the welfare services
of the health institutions.
