— Estudio de las quitinasas durante los procesos de enquistamiento.
— Estudio de la expresión génica durante los procesos de enquistamiento y desenquistamiento en Entamoeba invadens.

Proyectos de investigación en curso:

Análisis del polimorfismo de los genes que codifican para las quitinasas de Entamoeba invadens.
Caracterización de las quitinasa CHI1, CHI2 y CHI3 y análisis de la expresión genética en los procesos de enquistamiento y desenquistamiento de Entamoeba invadens.
